Dear Music Teachers,

Attached here are instructions issued by the Malaysian Syndicate

of Examinations regarding the ABRSM Theory for the year 2009.

PANDUAN KEPADA PEMOHON/CALON

Peperiksaan Teori ABRSM Sesi Mac dan Ogos 2009

1 Tarikh dan Masa Peperiksaan

1.1 Peperiksaan akan dijalankan pada tarikh berikut:

Sesi Mac: 16 Mac 2009 (Isnin)

Sesi Ogos: 24 Ogos 2009 (Isnin)

1.2 Peperiksaan akan bermula pada jam 9.00 pagi.

2 Pendaftaran

2.1 Pendaftaran adalah pada tarikh berikut:

Sesi Mac: 21 Oktober 2008 hingga 12 November 2008

Sesi Ogos: 19 Mei 2009 hingga 3 Jun 2009

2.2 Pendaftaran secara manual dibuat dengan menggunakan Borang Masuk (Entry Form)

yang boleh diperolehi di Jabatan Pelajaran Negeri (JPN).

2.3 Pendaftaran secara online dibuat di https://onlineforms.abrsm.ac.uk.

3 Bayaran Yuran Peperiksaan

Bayaran yuran peperiksaan adalah seperti yang tercatat di dalam
Music Examinations Dates and Fees 2009 yang diedarkan oleh
pihak ABRSM.

3.3 Bayaran pendaftaran online dibuat dengan menggunakan

kad kredit (MasterCard atau Visa) sahaja.

5 Pertukaran Gred

Permohonan untuk pertukaran gred TIDAK dibenarkan selepas pendaftaran dibuat.

6 Calon Menarik Diri

6.1 Nama calon yang menarik diri perlu dimaklumkan kepada Pegawai

Meja ABRSM di Sektor Penilaian dan Peperiksaan, JPN sebelum atau pada
tarikh berikut:

Sesi Mac: 5 Mac 2009

Sesi Ogos: 13 Ogos 2009

6.2 Keputusan untuk mengembalikan yuran penuh atau separuh (½) daripada yuran

yang telah dibayar oleh calon yang menarik diri akan ditentukan oleh pihak ABRSM.

7 Re-Entry Voucher

7.1 Calon yang tidak dapat hadir pada hari peperiksaan layak memohon
re-entry voucher.

7.2 Permohonan re-entry voucher mesti dibuat ke JPN selewat-lewatnya pada tarikh berikut:

Sesi Mac : 19 Mac 2009

Sesi Ogos: 27 Ogos 2009

7.3 Pihak ABRSM akan membuat keputusan untuk meluluskan pemberian

re-entry voucher kepada calon.

8 Calon Khas

8.1 Kes calon khas mesti dinyatakan semasa pendaftaran dengan merujuk
Perkara 18 di dalam Examination Information & Regulations 2009.

8.2 Pihak JPN mesti dimaklumkan mengenai kes calon khas sebegini.

9 Pertukaran Pusat Peperiksaan

9.1 Permohonan pertukaran pusat peperiksaan hanya akan dipertimbangkan

untuk calon yang berpindah ke negeri lain.

9.2 Bayaran RM25.00 bagi setiap orang calon dikenakan untuk
proses tersebut.

9.3 Permohonan pertukaran pusat peperiksan adalah sebelum atau pada
tarikh berikut:

Sesi Mac: 23 Februari 2009

Sesi Ogos: 3 Ogos 2009

10 Kemasukan Ke Bilik / Dewan Peperiksaan

10.1 Calon mesti membawa:

(i) Kad Pengenalan atau

(ii) Salinan Sijil Kelahiran yang disahkan dan dikepilkan
dengan gambar calon.

10.2 Ketua Pengawas boleh menghalang calon yang tidak membawa dokumen
berkenaan daripada menduduki peperiksaan.

10.3 Ketua Pengawas berhak menghalang calon yang berpakaian
kurang sopan daripada memasuki bilik/dewan peperiksaan dan
menduduki peperiksaan.
